Though they were born in the age were cameras or videophones did not existed, I still based my answers on academic and scholarly papers written by historians. So here it goes... I chose Gregoria de Jesus and Andres Bonifacio. They have been known as two of the most famous personas in the KKK. I can see to it that the impression management tactics that they used are the (1) Conforming to the Situational Norms and (2) Being Consistent. 1. Conforming the Situational Norms -Since they belonged in a very structural organization, they are organized people. And since KKK is a very large org, then they presented themselves in a way that they gain authority and respect with other comrades. They talk and settle onto which attitudes should embody a Katipunero which is quite evident in their papers like the Kartilya and Pahayag. 2. Being Consistent -Also, being consistent with what they are saying and doing are essential in establishing an impression towards other people. In the case of Oryang and Andres, they embodied what they had been saying. They became the living legacies of being a real Katipunero. |
